Ice Water Facial Soaking
A Purpose-Built Facial Basin

Designed in Japan for ice-water face soaking — not a kitchen bowl, not ice pressed to the skin. Just 500ml, fitted to your face.

Ice Water Facial Soaking

Not Face Icing. Not a Kitchen Bowl.

Face icing usually means pressing ice cubes to the skin. An ice water facial is different: you soak your face in ice water. Most people reach for a mixing bowl — and the water spills, the rim cuts into the cheeks, or it is the same bowl used for dinner.

Shinganki names that ritual ICE WATER FACIAL SOAKING: a purpose-built facial basin, designed and developed in Japan for this one act. Fitted to your face, steady on the counter, and made for 500ml — not borrowed from the kitchen.

How Ice-Water Face Soaking Works

Three steps from fill to pat-dry. Ice water facial soaking with a basin made for the act — not a borrowed bowl.

1

Fill

Add about 500ml of ice water, chilled sparkling water, or lukewarm water — whichever soak you're after.

2

Soak

Lean forward and let the contoured rim cradle your face. This is ice-water face soaking — immerse, lift to breathe, and repeat. No ice cubes on the skin.

3

Pat Dry

Lift away, pat your skin dry, then rinse the bowl clean and set it on its base for next time.

Why Shinganki

Four features that make Shinganki a purpose-built facial basin — not any bowl already sitting in your cupboard.

Full-Face Contour Fit

An ergonomic rim follows the face so ice-water facial soaking stays even and contained — unlike an ordinary bowl that spills or presses into the cheeks.

Only 500ml per Session

Its compact, contoured shape allows you to soak most of your face with just about 500ml of ice water.

Made for One Ritual

A purpose-built facial basin for ice-water face soaking — not a shared sink basin, and not a mixing bowl borrowed from the kitchen.

Designed & Developed in Japan

Not a Japanese label on a generic bowl. Shinganki was designed in Japan as a dedicated tool for this act, then registered as Trademark No. 6399066 and Design No. 1687106.

“The idea for Shinganki began with a simple personal habit. Having sensitive skin, I preferred a simple approach to my daily skincare routine and enjoyed gently soaking my face in water. However, ordinary household bowls were never quite the right shape for it.”

FAQ

Ice water facial soaking is immersing your face in ice water — an ice water facial done as a soak, not by rubbing ice on the skin. Shinganki calls this category ICE WATER FACIAL SOAKING and makes a purpose-built facial basin for it, designed and developed in Japan.
